Steelhead Fishing

Fishing of sorts... my dad and I set out last Saturday to try and catch one of the last steelhead of the season on the Rogue river. Sitting next to each other and huddled as close to a tiny Coleman propane heater in the boat as possible with out melting the traffic yellow $14 Fred Meyer rain gear (and I use the term "gear" loosley). It rained off and on for 7 hours and was freezing cold... perfect weather to catch the wiley steelhead. It turned out to be one of those "memory building" experiences, which is what you say when you the only thing you catch is good and conversation and a new friend, both of which are worthy in and of themselves.Posted by Hello
